Practice-a-thon
Music in the Schools (MIS), with the partnership with the MTAC Palo Alto Branch, is excited to host our first Practice-a-thon!
Students are asked to seek monetary pledges in support of Music in the Schools Foundation (MIS) from family members or close friends for total hours of instrumental/vocal practice. At the end of the Practice-a-thon, students will total up the amount of time they have practiced. They will notify their sponsors of the number of hours practiced and collect the pledged amount from each.

Music in the Schools
Music in the Schools Foundation (MIS) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that was founded by the MTAC Palo Alto Branch over 25 years ago. MIS provides high-quality in-school music education and after-school performance programs for Pre-K to 8th grade students in East Palo Alto, East Menlo Park, and Redwood City. Funded by grants and individual donations, MIS is the only organization in the area that provides free music instruction/education to underserved schools.
