Student Recitals

Student recitals are open to any levels and instruments!

Recital Dates 2023-2024

Recital length is usually 60- 75 minutes. All students should plan to arrive before the starting time. Occasionally, when the first recital is full, the second recital might be scheduled on the same date.

2023

Sunday, 10/22/23 at 1:30pm (St. Mark’s)

*December Student Recital is canceled. Students can consider participating in the Autumn Festival on November 19.

2024

Sunday, 1/21/24 at 2pm (St. Mark’s)

Sunday, 2/11/24 at 2pm (St. Mark’s)

Sunday, 3/10/24 at 2pm (St. Mark’s)

Sunday, 5/5/24 at 2pm (St. Marks) 

 

Regulations & Application Form

The application process is designed to be completed by the teachers. Students and parents, please ask your teacher to apply it for you.

 

COVID-19 Safety Measures

We encourage you to wear masks but not mandatory (updated on 1/24, 2023).

 

Application Fee

Application fees for each performer using one piano (updated 1/24/2023):

  • 0-5 min Piece:

    • Solo -$35

    • Duet -$25 per student

  • 6-10 min Piece:

    • Solo -$40

    • Duet - $30 per student

  • Additional $10 for using two pianos

 

How to Apply

Please download the Regulations & Application Form. You will find all the essential information there. The application process is meant to be completed by the teachers.


Deadline

Deadline for completed application submission and payment of fees is 2 weeks before each scheduled recital date. Please refer to dates in the application form.

 

Palo Alto Branch Standing Rules

Teachers are required to assist at the recitals according to the Palo Alto Branch Standing Rules, adopted in March 2005.

Palo Alto Art Center: 1313 Newell Rd. Palo Alto, CA

*Two pianos are available only on certain dates at the Palo Alto Art Center.
